05.24.16 Divine Download: Boundaries
If you ever attempted to do anything to help Self, there is no doubt that you have worked on setting and maintaining your boundaries.
Dear Highest Self,
Just the other day you finally opened up to what you will and will not accept in your life. As with many, "life has been rough." But you are worn down and tired of living the life that you have spoken into existence with that one phrase. And you have demonstrated that by telling your loved ones what you will and will not accept from them. You let them know that you will no longer walk in the darkness that is manifested when you dwell on the difficulties you are experiencing. You know that with all things hard the opposite is also true. Your life is not only its negative parts. When you take a step back and look at it, your blessings far outweigh the bad bits.
Live in this SUNSHINE!
This is what your soul has been lovingly telling you all along... And it is now that you are claiming this for your Self. This loving opportunity of happiness. You were right to tell them that you refuse to live in the darkness. You were right to tell them that you know and understand those times will come, are here, and will return again -- but that you will NOT allow that negativity to RULE your life! They are simply the cards you have been dealt and you are in full control of playing the hand your way and winning. These are the things that your Self has been internally screaming for so long and now they have finally found their voice.
You were strong. You were brave. But most importantly -- you were bold in not only establishing clear boundaries, but you demonstrated that under no circumstances would you falter in maintaining those very same boundaries. Even if it meant the demise of the connection between you and the other(s)... No one has control over others. We only have control over ourselves. With that, we must realize that it is us -- our boundaries -- that must be set and maintained in order to "receive" from others that which is necessary in your life. Until then, they will just give you what they think you deserve. They will give you what they are in need of themselves. They will give you everything but the happiness you seek.
